The ticks are already BAD around here. A few days ago I found one on the wall above the laundry basket. :barnie Then woke up at 4:00 a.m. and felt on crawling on my neck. :sick The dog. (Big baby lives in the house.) Brings lots of them in every night DH checks him over, but too late! Then DH joins dog in the woods and never changes clothes until bedtime. I may have to make DH check dog BEFORE coming in and leaving his clothes in washer as soon as he comes in. I am already SICK of the creepy crawlies. I have never seen them this bad. Grrr. :somad

Eeeewwwwuuu! I hate ticks! Poor you, maybe you should lock the doors and put a laundry basket on the back doorstep and not let anything enter until it's got your approval.

we've had a little more than usual here, but we're still in drought mode, so not too bad.

I thought of that, wouldn't the neighbors love it !?!?! LOL. I am so ready to do it, too. Since I looked down and saw one crawling up my shirt front while I was washing dishes just a few minutes ago. :rant

Creepy!!! shivers That makes me shudder in the involuntary way that goes with the old saying "somebody just stepped on my grave" Can you put garlic in the dog's food? It makes the dog smell bad to the fleas, ticks and might help keep them off.

Oklahoma has to be the tick capital of the world. It wasn't unusual to pull half a dozen ticks off every day. The two places I hated worst were between the toes or in the belly button. You really have to do some digging to get them out of there.

one year (many years ago) our family was on vacation in Wyoming. we stayed at this picturesque place & took a nice walk that evening. the two kids, hubby and I were covered in ticks. I was picking them off of everybody for hours. to this day it grosses me out
