Oh that sounds like it is going to look so nice! Can't wait to see pictures! Sorry your husband hurt his knee. I have old knees. The rest of me is OK, just my knees got old. Actually, accelerated old knees, probably because of all the abuse I heaped on them for years......

For knee pain, aches and pains, we use Arnicare cream. This stuff is fantastic. No smell, no burn, no tingle, just rub it on and in 10 minutes, pain is gone or greatly reduced and it lasts for hours.

Hmmm wonder if that would work for my foot and ankle pain? Not terribly expensive, may be worth a try.

My brother ( now retired) was the head pharmacist at UC Davis and his wife ( now retired ) registered nurse that did hospital audits all over Cal. as well as by our Doctor , recommend " Voltaren gel ( diclofenac sodium topical gel ) 1% or a more concentrated one if you visit Mexico Voltaren enulgel ( diclofenac sodium topical gel ) 1.16% . I have used this for years with effective results , so I recommend it too.

mary if you are going to put lawn back, look into Buffalo grass. It is a low water grass, a member here subjected years ago to me. You can buy seeds online. It only grows 6 in high so doesn't need a lot of cutting.

Nyboy, have you seen lawns with this buffalo grass? I'm kind of particular when it comes to grass. The native ones that I've seen look to "praire" for my tastes. Since I will have such a tiny lawn, I plan on having perfectly green grass. :)

I would only need 1/2 lb of that seed and the price seems reasonable to me.

Here's the thread link-

And here's where you can read about and order-

I'm guessing you probably won't like it Mary. Mostly because it does have a dormant season.

@Nyboy, did you end up planting buffalo grass?
