We planted 8 Asparagus Crowns 3 years ago in an area I thought would be perfect for them. Now, after re-configuring our yard, I have changed my mind. I need to move them if possible. It is springs and has been very warm here in Colorado, but we haven't seen anything coming up yet.
So, questions:
Can I move them to another location without killing them or having to wait another 3 years for them to be big enough to eat?
How soon should I move them?
How should I approach moving them?
Best kind of soil for me to move them into?
Best location for them to be?
How far apart do they "really" need to be spaced?
How deep?
Any help with this would be great!
Thanks All!
