i think it was @Zeedman or @Pulsegleaner (or both?) who've posted on them on TEG. search may give threads and/or posts...

i grew them once as a child. i can't recall if it was before or after growing beans in the same plastic blue container that was shaped like a tulip and i don't think i got much of a harvest if anything, but i did like the plant. :) (so much of this sounds familiar to now that it's very funny to me :) ...).

I grew Argentinian White last year, started indoors as transplants. they grew well under LED shop lights. They flowered early (most directly below the main stem) about 30 days after transplant. the yield was surprisingly decent.

Brie Arthur has grown them. You may/may not be too far north to grow them.
She said in this episode or another episode that you "thumb them in", and has grown them at the edge of vegetable and flower beds.
