Hard to say, they are... how should I put it? Not running a tight ship. We can't keep track of all the people that may or may not be living there, a car with flat tires sits in the driveway, they don't mow till you need a periscope to see where you're going, etc.catjac1975 said:No respect for other people's property. The neighbor's 8 year old son and his friend picked all the tomatoes off and threw them at each other!
I sort of feel sorry for them right now though, they put in a raised garden early last year at the back of their lot but didn't think it through. Right next to their garden is a field full of weeds that another owner only mows once in a great while with a bush hog so it's a real pain to try to garden right there with all the weeds around, plus it doesn't get much sun there due to a row of trees. They didn't tend it and had poor results last year, then only a week ago they tore down the raised garden but by that I mean they only took down the wood planks and have three, 1' tall sections of dirt held together by giant weed roots. I'm wondering if they think that dirt is going to disappear without the wood around it.
Losing the tomatoes wasn't all that big a deal to me though, was only one of several plants and to be frank it was a bit of a pain to trudge to it to tie up, water, get fruit when it was distanced from everything else I was growing, I just didn't have the heart to throw it out as it was a leftover.
