Fence posts are in and trimmed. Landscaping timbers placed between the posts to help contain the wood chips, braced up the fence posts and also a place to staple down the bottom of the deer netting we are using for fencing. Took pics and vid of the start of our BTE garden, will post them when I can.
Ran into a few snags that will require a trip to town and all, but hope to have this entire fence done, the last tillage complete(the 5th and final breaking up of this horrible soil) and some things planted in that garden~chips or no chips~by the end of this week.
Will set out the seedlings on the front porch for hardening off this weekend and all next week.
Then goin' trout fishing in the mountains next week....hot tub will be sorely needed(no pun intended) by then, so will make sure to hit it often between bouts of sittin' and draggin' a line. Will be so joyful to have a time with family in a pretty place, doing absolutely nothing much but having fun and relaxing.
Won't even need to worry about bringing along my incubator, as God saw fit to provide me a broody, so loaded her up night before last and can leave the place without bator in tow or worrying about trying to do a broody's job. I'm not that good at it.
Still praying for wood chips....
