Did anybody else have hail yesterday? I stood in the public library watching golf-ball sized hail crash into my car.:( Actually, no damage that I can see. My DH hasn't inspected it yet with his eagle eye. I don't think it damaged my broc and cabbage, but my friend said his peas are ruined. It is dreary and cool and damp here today. Perfect for my mood. Today is the one-year anniversary of my dad's death. Gonna have a family memorial gathering at my house this afternoon, so I guess I better get hopping and start the cleaning and cooking routine. :/ Wish me luck and patience!

I'm so sorry for your dreary mood lucky. :hugs Things wil look better when the sun comes out and you can dig in the dirt - that always makes me feel better. I'm sorry for the loss of your dad. :hugs

Thanks for the hugs, Southern Gardener.

Sun came out. Been busy:

Trip to store for last minute items: Check
Dusted furniture and put away clutter: Check
Scratch spaghetti sauce simmering: Check
Broccoli/Cauliflower salad chilling: Check
Peach cobbler in oven: Check
Butter softening for garlic bread: Check
Me sitting down with cup of tea and snack bar: Check
Aah! Sun looks beautiful and temperature more like March now than May. :)
