It's been chilly here the last couple of days... Mrs. Ranch decided to giving me a break on cooking supper yesterday so I didn't have to go out in this weather (she made a big pot of chili). I contributed some by making jalapeno/cheese cornbread to accompany it.

Made my first chocolate cream pie so some of the chocolate chips went into that. Decided to replenish the cookie jar, so I made a 1/2 batch of toll house cookies. Home today, Federal Holiday, Courts Closed, so Law Office also closed, and we are home. I have been ordered to bake more bread today.

Today is bread day here as well... Rolled wheat this time. For those that didn't know, I worked in a bakery to pay my way through college (I was the bread guy).
