No, I'm using tin because I scrounged a pile of it and I have enough to do the whole feed and tack room. Horses crib-they chew wood when bored or just because they can. They won't chew the tin.

@Collector I was thinking I would paint it. But as it goes up, I like it and so does my husband. He asked me if I wanted to paint it. I told him if we painted it, it would always look dirty from all the dust. The tin on the barn is new, shiny and pretty, then there's this rusty old stuff in the barn.... But on the bright side, if it gets dusty and dirty, it won't matter because it looks like crap anyhow.
... I would have your General contrator consult Your county/ State building code... The feed room floor apears to be concrete,( conrete floor should be sealed and feed sacks and hay bales should be stored on wood pallets to prevent mold growth from moisture on / from the concrete floor ) how are the current wall studs attached to the concrete floor ? There needs to be a pressure treated "green" board set onto the concrete and attached to the concrete with bolts set into the concrete or with concrete nails shot into the concrete with a captive bolt gun, then the 2 x 4 wall studs nailed to it.( to prevent dry rot from concrete moistsure to the wall studs ) Also , the 4 x 10 headers over the doors need to have "cripple studs" attached under the end of the headers , then nailed to the end studs and nailed down to the greenies for proper support. The wall studs will help in the roof support on this side of the barn to prevent roof sagging, but how is the other side of the barn roof supported ? You are doing a great job and I applaud you for the high end patina designer decor .
