Bay, those are exactly what I need for a couple of gates of mine...will be scrapping for the wood to make something smaller and similar to those for sturdier gate closures.

Hey those are going to look nice, are you going to paint them or just let nature do what she will with them. 1 vote for just putting them up like they are and let them fade naturally. It will match that awesome old tin siding you have.

Just let it weather. The 1x6 came off the cull rack at Lowes. It was split and boogered up in the middle, but since I wanted pieces, it didn't matter to me!

I do want to paint the doors. Got any ideas? It's dusty in there.
