I planted Royal Golden Watermelons. Beautiful! Red meat, the rind turns golden when ripe. A no brainer! Yes! NOW I’ll know when they are ripe! Even the vines are pretty!!

My very first one! I’m so proud of my beautiful watermelons!

We cut it open, it was delicious. The only problem was so many seeds! So many that there are more seeds than melon! What a bummer. Not even worth eating the darned things. Phooey. :(

I think what I’ve done is grow some lovely treats for the pigs, sheep and horses.
Bummer about the seeds but it sure is a pretty melon! Looks like a pumpkin lol.

This morning I pulled my Painted Mountain corn @thistlebloom. It has been raining, so I ran out to rescue it. Sure are lots of pretty colors! I have it tied in bunches, hanging from the porch rafters.

I picked tomatoes, long eggplant and Thai#2 long green beans.

Then I went back and picked Kentucky Wonder beans and Diamond eggplant.

@baymule I see you are still growing the Thai long beans :) Bob was not happy with them. So he went back to planting Kentucky wonder.
