I talked to the electricians in 2022 when I was babysitting DD's house rewire, about rewiring my trailer. They said they couldn't do it bc they make the housing for the wiring so small (and out of steel) that an electrician cannot fish wires in to repair. I would pretty much have to get a welder to cut in, weld a bigger housing and then have an electrician fish wires.
Can't win! :barnie:rant:somad

I weaned 3 lambs yesterday, 1 ram and 2 wethers. They joined the other 4 already weaned. They cried pitifully all day. Ewenique cried back at them and tried to get as close as possible. The white wether is hers and the black and white spotted ram. The solid black ram belongs to Jet and she’s just fine that he’s weaned. Jet is Ewenique’s daughter and the black ram is her grandson. Family portrait!

Ridgetop and her husband spent the night Monday night. They left the next morning to go to Cleveland to pick up their tractor. It’s finally ready! We went out to eat and had a good visit. I took them to Crockett to a real good Mexican restaurant. Their menu is 4 pages, front and back.

When we turned down my road, at the first creek crossing, there’s a small beaver dam. We got out to look at it. Probably not a lot of beavers in Southern California. LOL Plus there’s lots of wisteria that’s gone wild, covering tall pines, festooned in purple blooms.

After they left morning, I moved the cow panel hay contraption in the front field. I sectioned off part of the lot, to wean ewe lambs in. I put the hay contraption up so both sides can access it.

The nosy ewes came to investigate. Where’s the hay?

I set a new bale of hay and the sheep lost no time to munch on it.

Then I set a new bale in the middle field. The weaned ram lambs on one side, ewes on the other and Cooper on the back.

My friendly cardinal came for a visit.

Annnnddddddd……… the confounded nasty GNATS are back! Lucky me, I have two kinds, teeny tiny ones the size of a flea. Those fly around in clouds of the darn things. Then there is the big gnats between the flea size and deer fly size. Both bite. Annoying, I inevitably swallow some. So this means I wear a long sleeved shirt and a mosquito net over my head. I hate those nasty biting things.
