Had a nice weekend, Saturday I picked up thistle heads out of the front pasture. All. Day. Long. Step counter racked up almost 5 miles but couldn’t record how many times I bent over. I packed 9 bags of thistle heads. Sunday morning, church and Sunday afternoon I went to friends for potluck supper. Got home to AC blowing hot air. House was hot. Spent night at son’s house on sofa, only furniture in it. Got AC guy here late Monday. Tried to get quotes from others, one never called back after leaving 4 messages, others scheduled days out to come look, can’t they price me a 4 ton unit over phone? First (and only) guy came down on price, made a cash deal, DO IT.

Yesterday, Tuesday, a friend brought a small AC window unit, it’s in living room window and I slept on sleeper sofa.

I’ve been rather lazy this week. I’m exhausted from all the previous weeks of activity. No place to cool off, tired and hot, not motivated, not in a good mood and just don’t care. I’ll get geared up again, but not today. LOL
A day of much needed rest and time to recover physically and mentally.
try to enjoy the down time, count it a gift.

Yeap over worked and underpaid . Bay that is usually my issue too.
For fast-acting relief, try slowing down ...Reality is the leading cause of stress for those in touch with it.Remember, today is the tomorrow you worried about yesterday... “Relax. ... Get a hot tub to sooth your whole body.. We must have a chocolate is of course number 1 on the rehab exhaustion list.

Hope your better today. 🤗

And today my truck FINALLY got loaded on a trailer and hauled to the shop. It’s been 3 1/2 weeks. Now I can find out what is wrong and get it fixed. Now THAT has been stressing me!:lol::lol::gig🤪

A friend brought over a small window unit and it’s cooling the living room. I’m sleeping on the queen sleeper sofa. Getting new AC unit inside and outside either Friday or Monday.

In summers I use the trees around my home I planted to shade the house to keep cool. I rarely need to use the air conditioner. Only if the temps reach 100F 3 or more days in a row. Tree aspirate a fine mist in hot weather to keep the temperature cooler .
You might not know that trees play a crucial role in combating urban heat. Trees cool the area beneath their canopy by an impressive 20–45 degrees Fahrenheit via shade and a natural form of cooling called “evapotranspiration” that takes place when trees exchange moisture with the air around them.
