My Potamus had a pet deer he raised. They were inseparable. They slept together everynight. When Potamus passed away last year, the deer left and never came back.

I LOVE crepe myrtles! Unfortunately I can't have one here because they wouldn't survive our brutal winds. So many trees here have been uprooted or snapped in half. The wind comes through this valley like a train. We can hear it before it gets here!
Crepe myrtles are so brittle.

I bought 2 registered ewe lambs. I put them in quarantine in, where else? The front yard with Carson as guardian. The stinkers zeroed in on my new Saint Augustine grass, tasty treat! So I fenced it off with hog panels. It’s a pain to feed and water them now, because I have to unhook the hog panel and bend it back enough for me to squeeze through.

I let the 2 young ewes join the ewe crew. This coming week I have to wean 2 ram lambs. Guess where they are going? Yep, front yard! Then I have 4 more ram lambs about a week old, in 2 months they also will go in the front yard.

Carson has targeted my Saint Augustine grass, peeing on it. 🤬🤬🤬

In GOOD news, I have my first canna lily bloom!!!
