I am just a little excited. After SEVEN MONTHS of no internet, this is fan-tabulous!!
Yall get ready for LOTS of pictures!!! @ninnymary you said you wanted to see what I have been up to, and now you will!! What has been really awful, I couldn't see the pictures ya'll posted and I have sure missed PICTURES!!!!!!!

Got signed up with Hughes Net and installed today. I read some horrible reviews about them, but they are awesome to me. This is the ONLY company available to me. Don't know why I didn't find them sooner. Duh. Our TV is Direct TV, just bought out by AT&T and they don't offer internet in my area. :he Oh SMILIES!!!! How I have MISSED YOU!!!! :love

I should have realized something was different with your hummer post. Duh! it had a picture! Haha!

We have Hughes. No problems for us. it's better than the Hotspot device we had for awhile. Welcome back to living color. And smilies! :)

Yeah, people living where good communications are the norm don't come close to understanding some of the challenges where certain utilities are not normal. Some neighbors are right now drilling a well at $8 per foot to try to get water. Extending county water to their place on their side of the mountain would cost them $30,000. If they don't hit decent water they'll build a weekend camp instead of the retirement home they were hoping for. Water in this valley tends to be sulfur water if you can find it at all. The reason it costs so much is that the main supply line is too small to add another family, especially with them up on the side of the mountain. It would drop my water pressure some but they would not have pressure at all.

Good to have you back and happy. It's not the photos so much. Since it is easier maybe I'll see more of your jokes.
