The tomato plants went dormant in the heat of the summer. When it cooled off, they put on new growth and started blooming. They have survived several frosts, but I don't think they'll make it past tomorrow night.
Is there a way that you could insulate them somehow? Just wondering if you could save them to see if they would continue growing.

Nah, the cold would still do them in even if I wrapped them.

Little green tomatoes make the best pickles.:drool:drool I buy jars when local supermarket has them

I made a bunch last year, still have some.

The freeze killed the tomato vines, so today we pulled them up. See the dead butterbeans on the right? They're next!

We got these pulled up and added to the burn pile. This was the short row we pulled up first. On the right you can see the collards. We weeded them, lavished them with sheep manure and topped with wood chip mulch. We put up the green mesh plastic fence to keep the chickens out.
