Bean Woes

The bush beans came in ok (two edge rows) ... but, the pole bean row (center) looks rather pathetic... which is a BUMMER, because those are the "expensive" purple beans! I don't have any more purple pole bean seeds, but think I'll soak some green pole bean seeds and add them to the row.

Also, some of my bean plants look like they have been "zapped" -- We've had high heat and winds lately ... wonder if some of them just got too dry? Think they'll pull through?

Yes, that looks like sun-scald to me.

Beans are resilient critters. I bet they'll be okay.

And, green pole beans mixed with the purple should work fine and be colorful, too.

Ha! It seems I never miss a good chance to kill plants! :lol:

I even take advantage of mildly mediocre chances to kill plants as well!
