How come Bob gets all the excitement? I must live a dull life with no bed bugs, no critters creating total destruction of my garden, etc.

Life is good for some of us.

Mary

be careful of what you speak of... :) didn't you have a r*t problem?

i wouldn't wish bedbugs upon my worst enemies. hope @bobm can get on top of it soon.

Yes, I do have rats. But the only bite into an occasional tomato or apple. The neighbors and I have set traps and have caught some. Either the numbers went down or else they moved elsewhere. I don't have nearly the problem Bob does in his garden.

Just to be clear, I'm not wishing bed bugs on Bob or anyone else. I don't think I implied that.

no, you didn't imply that, i just meander off sometimes on tangents that come to mind. i was expressing how horrible it looks to have to battle those creatures.

The bed bug control guy came out late Friday to apply 2 types of growth control regulators as well as more Nuvan Prostrips that is a strip that off gases for 4 months. We have now went from catching up to 50 bed bugs per day ... to about a dozen per day last week... to just one yesterday morning since last Friday. He will come again in about 2 weeks to reapply more growth regulators and the Prostrips. then a month later, he will set hormone baited traps to see if the infestation is eliminated. :fl When we came to the USA in 1949, we had to be fully vaccinated, dusted with DDT and had complete physicals for any communicative diseases and pests followed by proper treatments if need be . We also had to have a sponsor ( my dad's uncle ) that was required to sign documents that would provide for all of our needs. Within a couple days , both of my parents found jobs and we were self sufficient ever since. These days... just cross the border any way you can and you are home free with no strings attached. You and I now have to pay the ever increasing price ...

Now Bob, you know that is not true about people who cross the border. Let's not make your bedbug issues into a political statement.
