Can't wait to see picst of all those pretty jars of goodness!
Congrats to you!!
I only have a few bean plants (1st time planting) and I'm hoping to gather enough to make it worthwhile to start the canner. Maybe I'll manage a quart or two before the season ends LOL

Canned 15 pints green beans, 8 quarts tomatoes. Still have the spaghetti sauce to do, and I think I can get another 5 pints of beans done. I can only do pints, and only five at a time cause I just have a little pressure cooker. I've already done 12 half-pints of blueberry jam, and eight of strawberry jam, plus another eight of blackberry jelly. And apples are ripe, so I'll be picking apples tomorrow! I wonder how long an apple pie can be frozen and still be good?

@happy acres Try canning (or freezing) just the pie filling.
You sure have been busy. Most of out garden will wait until school resumes and I will only have nights and weekends to get it put up.

I have this week off, that's why I can get this done now. Took a break to make supper, think I'll stop for the night.

Pat yourself on the back for a job well done! Doesn't it make you feel good, knowing that you have provided good food for your family? :thumbsup On freezing the apple pie-don't. Just portion out the apple pie filling and freeze it.
