@Smiles Jr. Direct cremation is being taken directly to the crematorium as apposed to embalming and display the deceased at a visitation then to embalmer. Skipping the middleman so to speak.
Ah Ha, that's the one for me. They say that the funeral is mostly for the living or surviving folks to have closure. I say "Ha Ha, they'll get over it". Just drag my old carcass to the furnace and don't even bother to remove the ashes.

Aw come on y'all. Don't you want people you didn't see for years, and probably didn't even like come up to your fancy high dollar casket and exclaim "He/She looks so NATURAL!"

There's one at every funeral. They gush on how "good" the deceased looks. Really? To me they just look dead. BWA-HA-HA!!!!!!

I don't understand the whole open coffin thing. My mother had a long illness before she died, She looked terrible when she passed, my sisters had the coffin open at her wake.

I have a lovely gully of No-Man's-Land between the neighbors and us that would be a nice, quiet resting place. . . and from the gully to Coon Creek to Turtle Creek to Rock River to the Ohio to the Mississippi to the Gulf of Mexico if you're interested.
