Gopher Snakes and Rattlesnakes
COEVOLUTION at work
There is a lot of coevolution, things that affect each other's evolutions, in nature.
Orchids along with very specific species of Pollinating insects, the Orchids evolving to attract them, the pollinators evolving to seek them and their nectar.
Viceroy butterflies mimicking unpalatable Monarchs so the birds leave them alone.
Gopher Snakes mimicking Rattlers so EVERYONE leaves them alone
The list goes on and on, and there are some complex relations.
Oh, and the lifeweb, everything, all life, affects all life...
