I am a happy, happy birthday Duckums!! Thanks for the well wishes, and, if you're like ME, you will miss this thread and see it next week!! 
We are having our law office Christmas party at a local restaurant later this afternoon. LOTS of merriment and good times and good food--BIG group this year, too.
Prior to surgery they had to cut off my wedding ring, too tight, warning of swelling and possible finger loss.
I told them Yes, bc I Like this finger!!
DH bought me a new and lovely ring with chocolate diamonds. FANCY!!!
Got almost every present for Christmas wrapped and boxed. We go to our family gathering tomorrow and if you're not organized you can forget presents, like the gloves I bought last year for SIL. They ARE wrapped and boxed up as we speak.
