Wow... didn't know I was so popular! Thanks for all the loving messages!

My first birthday present was when my DH got up to let the ducks out of their coop instead of me doing it. So nice to be able to sleep in!
We were planning on having a roast duck for dinner, but had forgotten that DS had a dentist's appointment for 3 fillings , so he wasn't going to be able to pluck and clean one. So instead we are having chicken and dumplings, peas, salad, and a chocolate cake with chocolate mint frosting (it tastes like Andes mints, yum!)

Other than that, my day was pretty much like normal; I got more done on the sweater I'm knitting- Maybe I'll finish in time to wear it this winter??
