This weekend at my favorite nursery I noticed for the first time black colored flowers. Both pansies and petunia had black flowers. I am sure they where very deep purple, but they look black. have you seen any other flowers in Black?

There are daylilies that they call black, and brown, too. The black are dark purple.

Like smart red says, they look like a really dark maroon in bright sun. But on overcast days or in partial shade they looked pretty black.

I have these growing all over the place in my yard, from the one plant I bought 16 years ago--Black iris (NOT my photo!)

Ducks on my screen doesn't look black at all. Looks deep blue

I think our computer screens can vary a lot when it comes to color.

@Nyboy here is a black petunia I added to my new/old wheelbarrow planting. This must be the blackest bloom I have ever seen!
