I don't use Yahoo News very often, BUT, TONIGHT is the Blood Moon. Geeky Astronomers are calling this the Pi Day Blood Moon bc its starts at midnight on the EAST COAST. Everywhere else, it is beginning tonight, March 13th.
The whole event takes about 3 hours and it is magnificent!
(locally)Look SE tonight starting at 11PM, complete eclipse about 12:30AM (Pi Day), then fading around 1:30AM.
The rest of the world should adjust for time zones.
There is NO chance of harming your eyesight. Last Blood Moon that was easy to see happened during the Tetrad (next post) at 6:30 in the morning. Locals driving in to work had NO IDEA what they were looking at! I even read that yesterday morning there was a brief sunrise Blood Moon. This is a timeline for OHIO, btw.
