I ranted elsewhere on this forum about being unhappy with Burgess for taking forever. I will say in their defense that they did send with the potatos, a) more than I was supposed to get, b) they sent free seeds that are Husk Tomato (ground cherry) and Solanum Melanocerasum (garden Huckelberry).

if i can grow potatoes successfully this summer, then i will order next year.

I think the trick for me is to order the seed potatoes and hold on to them up until November. If i plant in November my potatoes will have cooler temps of winter. the only downside being the shorter days. but i dont think its much of an issue as there is never threat of frost, they have as long as they need to develop. But ideally, I'll be harvesting potatoes this time of year, not planting them.
