Brand new old compost pile, and chicken manure on the lawn

So, the pile in my pic above is the wooden bin, thats the stuff from the middle of my original "wild" pile, stuff that was in the middle and most-broken-down when I started messin with it(hence this entire thread).

That bin has now stopped heating up and remained cool after the last turn a day or so ago.

However, tho it is all broken-down and crumbly and unrecognizable as what it all was, it doesnt seem broken-down enough for my tastes/likeing.

What are my options to get the stuff in that bin to heat up one more time?
a- add chicken/rabbit/quail poop
b- add lawn mower leavins
c- turn it one more time and be done with it afterwards
d- ???

Lol, in honor of Hoodat, I peed on it about an hour ago . . . ;)

I'm really liking this thread. The pictures of your chicken wire and box compost pile was great.

:lol: and the pee'ing comments, well I just about fell out of my chair laughing, but seriously I'll have to convince my husband to do that for me.
