We have an attractive wild carrot. I've grown ammi majus deliberately. Licoricey would be really special .

we've had a lot of queen-anne's-lace here over the years, but because of how they spread i've weeded them out as much as i can. if we could ever get carrots to actually grow here the way QAL's have done that would be great, but alas, wabbies love 'em quicker than they grow.

i have never used QAL as a cut flower, but we do like them when we see them in the fields or along the road side. same as the chicory with the cheery blues...

Stock would be a favorite annual for me, but it just gets too hot for it here. I like to grow zinnias and cosmos, larkspur and balsam. I don't do well with sweet peas, but I do like them.
As far as wild flowers, I like the wild rudbeckia (?) and queen anne's lace. there are usually plenty of wild things to pick along the gravel road.

We're planning some Mother of Pearl poppies and Snapdragons for cutting flowers.

snap dragons, stocks (nice fragrance), larkspur or delphinium are mostly my favorites.

I'm imagining the larkspur with the Mother of Pearl poppies ...

I had a moment of confusion about those poppies, which should be so artistic with the larkspur. Okay, they could be in honor of my great grandmother ... I was thinking, how could I grow Mother of Pearl if I'm the grandson of Pearl ?

Delphiniums are some of my favorite flowers. I had several plants at one time.
