baymule, sounds like if we didn't have the same mama they at least knew each other really well, lol. have you ever roasted brussel sprouts in the oven. if they are big i cut them in half or leave them whole if their small, drizzle a little evoo over them, sprinkle with some salt, pepper and garlic and cook at 400 degrees about 35-45 min until toasty. really good that way. also can put them in a skillet, i use a big cast iron, put some butter and evoo in with what ever seasonings you want and cook in the browned butter sauce. a lot of times i'll throw in broccoli, cauliflower, carrots and b. sprouts and roast together, yum. keep trying, there has to be some way to cook them you'd like.
