Bug ID please

I have several of these critters under leaves of a tomatillo plant. Does anybody know if they are good or bad?

From the looks of that leaf, I'd say they are bad. But I can't identify them.

OUCH, That does not look good Ridge. I have no idea what those bugs are, they sure do look sinister though!

If'n so, they are potato beetle larvae.

Looks close enough to me to say they are bad. If any more are a squashing they will get.

Wee clearly they are eating the plant. They might be potato beetle larvae.

I am no help. but they do look like the larval stage of something sinister.

I can't see the first photo, but I have had these bugs before eating my tomato plants.
