Two rows 12" apart, plants about 8" apart in each row. Skip about 32" to give space to walk and do two more rows at 12". Repeat as necessary. I normally have a double row of green beans, a double row or Black Turtle Beans )dried), and a double row of black eyed peas. A double row of each 40' long is usually enough.

Do you do raised beds, conventional row garden, or something else? Might make a difference.

How many green beans do you want? I plant one row about 25' long, spacing about 4" apart-too close so sue me-and get enough for several families.

I grow tenderrettes and Roma II. I'd grow all Roma II if someone would not nag at me.......
