You definitely need to live closer to those precious babies. But I hope it doesn't take you further away from the other grandkids.

We moved to Wa. because I needed cooler weather ... most of Cal. is just too hot. Bay area , high Sierras and the coast is cooler, but the cost is way too much. $$$ . We shall see what the future brings if son #1 and daughter and their families will consider moving to cooler climes up North .

Our daughter whent to visit Aubrie last night. That blue eyed blond babe swaped ends in her incubator in her quest to find her identical twin sister Brenna. Shades of her uncle... I first saw him at 1/2 hour old and he was on all 4s and trying to crawl already... and he whent on from there to be the "Dennis the Menace" type. :ep Mom will be having twice the fun keeping up with those two. :hugs

Aubrie and Brenna what lovely names, congratulations to you all. I hope they're all together at home soon. To date our 3 have given us 5 grands and 6 great grands, being an only child myself I finally have the family I always longed for:).

Annette ... my wife is an only child. Our 3 have now given us 9 grandkids. The oldest is now 16, so no great grandkids yet. My wife's cousin married into the Piper clan... her husband and their 8 kids first names all start with a " P ".

Bobm, I love the Dennis the Menace type! Those twins will be double the trouble but also double the joy.

Mary
Mary... not only was our oldest son the "Dennis the Menace" type ... his brother and sister all tried to outdo the other at every turn and never in slow motion. When my wife whent shopping with all of them , all she had to do is look at an item on a shelf and all three would be at opposite sides of the store. Our daughter's 2 older kids are the "Dennis the Menace " types too... son is 16 now, is at the top score in academics in the district and is a star in rugby. Her daughter is 14 , also the " Dennis the Menace" type, she is at the very top of her district academically and is a track star. These twins will have to really step up to top their siblings. There will be NO LACK IN TRYING !!! :weee
