@Nyboy we will sell this house, don't want the headache of renting it out when we are 160 miles away.

@digitS' thanks for the laugh!!!

@moxies_chickienuggets SHHHHH...... we have separate bank accounts.....separate credit......heck we even have separate PO Boxes! When we married, we had all the accoutrements of life, double on practically everything. Neither of us wanted to switch addresses, so we didn't.

I am happy to report the AC is running, I just came in from outside and am sweaty and filthy. Nothing like dirt therapy. However, there are several emails screaming for my attention that promise to wipe the smile off my face, and give me more headaches. So best get to them.....

I just plowed through 49 pages of documents and E-signing in the yellow high lighted places. Just click, and the name and date pops into place. Amazing. (shakes head) Sure different from buying this house 28 years ago. Then I had to print out 27 pages, read, sign, (they called it "wet" sign  ) and fax it in. This has over 4 hours to complete. Told ya'll it would wipe the smile off my face.

@baymule, I haven't been on line for several days. :hugs I am sorry to hear of your current trials. :hugs

It seems that so many people today are not as competent as they were in the old days. Keep their feet to the fire. Soon you will be in your new home.

Sheesh!o_O Mostly you talked about the blank palette you had around the house. I think you failed to mention a missing pipe or lost wire before. I sure hope you have electricians and plumbers in your family.

:loveThat is not all bad. Now you will know that everything hidden in the walls is to code and in new condition.

Normally I roll with the punches and I am not one to complain. I guess what did it for me was walking into the house and it being hot as an oven. After all the vehicle break downs, the stress of jumping through flaming circus hoops, trying to get things done on purchasing our new place, the AC just made something snap.

We made our "to do" list last night for when we sign and it's ours. I have been looking at vinyl plank looks-like-wood flooring online, horse wire, T-posts, gates, paint and other things that I am dying to get started on. There. Made myself feel better!

NEXT!! Anybody else want to complain?

:hugs , @baymule ... I hope it goes smoother from here on for you! Focus on the corn ... rows and rows of corn ... I can see it already. :) BTW, are there dandelions there or have you saved some seed?

Nowhere near your stressful event, but I am spending the weekend with DH's family and :duc
... well, lets just say, I'm trying hard to be optimistic... they just have a way of nipping that in the bud real quick.

Bring a bottle of wine to dull their opinions. Then they can talk about you being a drunk.
