Can anybody tell me what this draping/climbing(?) purple flower from pinterist is?

My Mama always called it 'Shrift' but I took some into a nursery once and was told it was Creeping Phlox. People here grow it on the sides of banks in their yards along a road bed because it holds the soil in place and it'll grow almost anywhere. Pretty in the spring but just ground cover the rest of the year.
