Can I grow pinto beans on chainlink fence?

I'm used to the sisal twine. I didn't even think of the plastic stuff.

Seedo when you burn those vines off, do you burn the galvanizing and wind up with rusty fencing?

The fencing does rust, but it's still remains usable for a long time. If you're worried that it will look bad, I don't recommend it. I live in a very rural area with few neighbors that would care about a good appearance, so it's not a problem for me.
