Husband got these on Woot. Idk why...
Then he got a few hostas and freesas.
I ran out of dirt, so, had to rush and find some. Topsoil, compost mix, supposedly. Don't have enough rabbit manure, so hoping it is a mix.
Does it look like 8 yards??
Isn’t fun when our animals feel a bit overwhelmed when they see new activity going on in their home. They are curious and have to supervise everything. Once they give their approval in business as usual.
Husband bought a ton of raised metal beds. Then got 8 hostas. Idk why.
I'm left to deal with it all.
Decided to pot them for now, as getting the beds together and filled will take awhile.
Idk anything about these. Any good info on them?
This disaster area is still being dealt with, as you can see. So, I can't start filling these 4ft beds.
I also have to redo the fence and add a 50ft privacy tarp, roughly centered behind them.
It's to block sight be neighbors, but also to stop livestock from eating what's in the beds.
The hostas marked full to shade will go here.
Should of covered that potted hedge when temps dipped to 27F...I covered the strawberries, though.
Got 4 of the planters filled! Thank golly for tractors! Or I would of been moving dirt, literally, all day! Super heavy because of all of the rain.
The hedge will go in here.
Filling the 2nd big square. Idk what's going in here yet.
Cleaned up the 1st pile after filling up the raised beds and put the leftovers on the 2nd. Animals keep spreading it all around.
The two gate bins. DH got 60 Freesia bulbs. I looked them up, not perennial here. So, he said to just let them die and plant something else next year. Idk what will go here afterwards.
Dug up all of my daffodils! Planted one when we moved into the farmhouse. And today, dug up two rows of thick bulb clumps! I'd guess 200 bulbs? Idk.
Went a bit dense at first, so half is full and rest not so much. But it's fine.
Idk what these are, ditch lily or?? Not sure I've ever seen them flower. They're shallow plants, and I have probably 100 more at the old house to dig up!
Anyone recognize them??
The sad hedge in center. Lol.
And hedge moving freed the bin. So, the asiatic lily moved in, mystery plant also moved in.
