Now Marshall, I knew you would remember that post, which is almost like cheating!

They are Tomatillos. I have like 600 of them out there! I wish I had gotten them sooner and painted them for ornaments. I won't be planting as many this year. I had never done them before and was unaware of how prolific they were. Even after being abused and stunted in the greenhouse there were more than I could ever process or give away.

Now there's a recipe that benefited form roasting!

Tomatillos make an awesome base for GREEN SALSA.

Course I don't know the recipe, but it also has green or yellow or white tomatoes in it, vinegar, and a small amount of hot pepper plus a large amount of green not hot pepper. Green salsa I had that was best had been blended in a blender.

I know...getting shushed out of the kitchen already! I'm used to it :p
