Interesting about temperature tolerance, @R2elk . It reminds me of a mistake that I made moving tomato plants into an unheated hoop house for their first night outside the 60º heated greenhouse.

All these damaged tomato plants! There were about 4 that completely died sitting right beside my remote thermometer that said 37º . Those dead ones beside that thermometer were Bloody Butcher.

Bloody Butcher is about the Best for setting and ripening medium-sized fruit EARLY in the garden! They could not take that sudden change to 37º better than any of the others!

Got 9 1/4" of snow between last night and today. It was refreshing to find these in the greenhouse.
