Cane plant with purple flowers?

Here is a stand I caught this evening, you can see how deep the purple is.

Wow those are cool! The color is total dif., the leaves are wide, none of mine have leaves like that!

We have 3 different cultivors of this plant here! Maybe 4?

I could SO make a pretty bed of them. I will be VERY busy this winter just getting ready for all the SPRING planting. This is good - will help keep me from being depressed about everything being dead/dormant....lol
