We water bath our tomatoes too, and for about the same time, but 1 1/2 hrs seemed like a LONG time for a water bath. I'm all for trying it though. With these high night time temps we've got the tomatoes are coming in fast and furious. Ive got probably 60 plants in 7 varieties.
