I bought seeds in a pretty moderate way this year - the 4th and the 5th new seeds so far.

I really only order from one "catalog" now, and it's finally here:

The good news: I already have 9 seed requests (not counting the 3 weird mid-winter garlic requests) and the season is just starting. The bad news: unlike years past, that is because I am now the sole source for 80-90% of the seeds that I offer. Last year, I sent out more seed than I've ever done... but though I have yet to finish reviewing my listings, historically only about 10% or less of those I send seed make the effort to re-offer. In terms of preservation, that's too precarious a situation for my liking. :(

@Zeedman , one of the panelists on Mid American Gardener, Professor Emeritus, was Just talking about Seed Savers.
He has contributed various seeds to Seed Savers, member since 1982, and He gets the catalog of people who share seeds with them.
He also has same catalog as you have. He said that Seed Savers has figured out that becoming a seed catalog for the general public can pay for their expenses.
Just some FYI...
