I build a lot of bird houses, garden benches, 5 tier garden planters etc etc etc, out of cedar. Can I use the cedar saw dust in the compost pile or is the cedar bad for the compost or plants?

Thanks for any answers I might get in advance

Thats funny. I wasnt cool enough either, then we went to Sears and bought a table saw, compound miter saw, band saw, router and table, and I taught myself to build those items. I sell em on craigslist.

thats awesome .. i wont lie, i love love love to play with my husbands tools - table saw and circular saw i leave to him .. and i dont create straight lines or measure or use the angle tool, so what i make truly can only be a piece of art and not something i'd sell .. but it works for me and my yard ..
