My first year trying celery too. Mine is about an inch tall right now. I guess we will all learn together. lol
The celeriac, along with the carrots and parsnips, are pulled out of the garden in the Fall and the leaves are taken off. Then they are moved to a hole not far from the kitchen door.. . . Thanks for the tip about celeriac, Steve. You've gotta love a veggie that stores that long! Do you have a root cellar or did you just put them in buckets of wet sand? I imagine in a fridge they would start to dry out after that long?
