Ok, it's a long story BUT at the back of our property is a dug-up blue agave. One that bloomed. VERY large.

Anyway, it's in pieces. Is there any hope of resurrecting at least a small baby from this plant?

We need a category for succulents! :)

They flower one time and die, it takes a long time, hence the name!
There should be a lot of babies all the way around it. Careful this thing is bad to the bone.
I will never forget watching my dad mowing the lawn, when he backed into one.

Look close to the roots you should find some with eyes were it will start a new shoot!

They will do fine inside by a window for your cold months.
In a pot you could control it's size very easy.

Well see, the momma plant was just hacked off at the base. I have no idea where she called home. BUT, I went out today and checked - she has a BABY coming out from where she was hacked off. So, my next question would be should I leave the baby to just grow off mom (even tho mom is technically dead) or should I try to remove the baby?

Sweet! :thumbsup

We'll have to get the wagon out there - she was HUGE! Now to figure out where I want her.

No don't move it. Or at least I would not.
When a frost is due cut what you can and pot up!
Moving the remains would disturb what is taking place, reproduction natural like!
