Cheap and Easy DIY Hanging Tomato Containers (PIC)

My girls and I whipped these up today. They're made from recycled hanging plant containers.. you know, the ones that hanging flowers come in. I hope they work out well... only time will tell! :)
And, yes... I do realize that I will most likely have to move these to a higher hook in the future, but for now I like them lower so that I can get "help" with the watering. :p

They should work fine- the enemy of those upside plants is the wind. Be sure to keep them in a protected area. Can't wait to see the updated pics, full of tomatoes! Love your little helper!

Our yard is COMPLETELY surrounded by HUGE pine trees (and other trees) so no worries about the wind. I usually find myself out there wishing there was more of a breeze. :D

Should work just fine. Last year I got some 3 gal. buckets from work and drilled holes in the bottom. They worked well as long as I remembered to keep them watered.
