My daughter lives in CO, Eagle to be exact. She was singing because the sun was shining there today!!

We are FINALLY getting some sunshine. Maybe now all my plats will finally start sprouting. I actually dug around in the ground yesterday because I thought my corn seeds had gotten eaten by the local doves. Turns out the seeds are plump and do have a tiny root. They are just waiting for the sun to shine before making an appearance.

PLEASE send snow NOW!!! It would melt in this heat and end the drought!

I stopped by our local farmers market yesterday and decided to buy some jalapeno pepper plants, I'm going to try planting a couple plants by my Cherokee purples and see if gives them a little bit of a bite. Have any of you ever tried that before and let me know if it works..

I have herd that a strong pepper can "share" it's flavor, but your guess is as good as mine.....
