Young couples, more often then not, have a dog or cat or two or three before they have any children. Put any future buyer at notice before the house sells with a rather large sign in front of your property ... " loose dogs and salesmen shot on sight "
I say if you have the money to buy more pullets go for it. That is if you're willing to lose them. But if that happens you will only be going back to where you currently are. I would defintely go and meet the new owners as soon as you can and voice your concerns. Maybe you could propose giving them eggs on a weekly basis? They could still have a dog or cat if they are willing to have it indoors.
You know, if I was a little younger and my DH was willing, I would to buy that house. That way I could at least have some control over who lives there!
I would do every thing else before I did the SSS. Usually (for me) talking to the owner has helped.
I need to go to the feed store tomorrow--I guess I'll see if they have any chickens.
@Smart Red I love your hair. I started turning gray at 12 years old. I colored my hair dark brown until I was 34. My hair was so white by then, that in 2 weeks, I looked like a road kill skunk. So I dyed it red. Blondes might have more fun, but redheads get away with a LOT MORE! I finally pried my fingers off the bottle and let it grow out a few years ago. The grow out was miserable, but the results were worth it, my hair is whitest white.
Your hair is beautiful and you look like a lady who is happy with life.
