Didn't know WHERE to post this. I have ALWAYS liked clay pots and LOVED the look of ceramic glazed clay pots. But, then, I've seen the value of plastic--certainly the cost is lots cheaper, and I know that my indoor and starter plants won't dry out as quickly in plastic. BUT, I read somewhere recently that plastic pots release VOC's into your home. Sooo, the perpetual student in me did a search.
I guess I could make my own. I could use model Magic:

OR...
I could pour concrete:

OR...
I could combine cement, Perlite and peat moss and make my own:

Perhaps wood...:

Maybe I could risk it and use FRP(fiberglass reinforced plastic):

Somebody on this site thinks that they are environmental.
Here's another thought...hhmmmmmmm.......:

How about a Sub-irrigated Tote Box Planter?:

SSSOOOO MANY CHOICES!!! Oh, well, I'm STILL gonna use the plastic pots I've saved up, anyway--guess I'll DIE a little sooner.
