Being cheap and not having a business lending itself to barter or networking, I think my way was just fine for me.
I know you will be happy with your bench once it is cleaned and ready for use again. Knowing it is safe will save you a lot of the worry that I first felt. Sometimes a bit of money is far better then the worry anyway.
Once I was finishing the spraying myself, all worry drifted off with the water.
