Clematis And Lightposts

Good to think about all the different scenarios, but these are clematis. Not honeysuckle, or wisteria, or trumpet vine. I don't believe the roots are a going to give any trouble.

Clems are among my very favorite flowers. :love
I have over 20 right now growing on trellis', fences, and trees.
I have blooms from early spring till fall.

Wow 20 I do love them!! A good friend as a daughter she name autumn, for her birthday I gave her a sweet autumn clematis, we couldn't believe how fast and large it grew in one season.

I want one of those! But they are only marginally hardy here. I have had 3 die. I think if I could get one to survive about three years it would have a good enough reserve to handle a bad winter.

Thistle where are all the clematis pics?

Nyboy I like that combination. We did it at our rental property with dark purple & white. It took some training to get them how we wanted them but we had blooms from June till fall.
